Choosing a RepublicNodes Tunnel Plan: Starter to Ultra
A practical breakdown of all six plans — who each one actually fits, not just the spec sheet.
Choosing a RepublicNodes Tunnel Plan: Starter to Ultra
Six plans is enough to make picking one feel harder than it needs to be. Here's what each is actually for.
Port Forwarding — Starter (₹49/month, 3 ports)
One game server, or one game server plus SSH. If you can count what you need to expose on one hand, this is almost certainly enough, and it's priced to prove it — cheaper than most competing tunneling tools' entry tier.
Port Forwarding — Standard (₹99/month, 8 ports)
A small stack: a game server, a Discord bot's webhook listener, and a couple of admin ports (SSH, a monitoring dashboard). The natural upgrade once "just one thing" becomes "a few things."
Port Forwarding — Pro (₹199/month, 20 ports, TCP+UDP)
Multiple services, or a small community running several games/tools behind one IP. Twenty ports goes a long way — several game servers plus supporting infrastructure fits comfortably.
Port Forwarding — Business (₹399/month, 60 ports)
Built for running several customer-facing services off one address — an agency, a small hosting reseller, or a community network with many independent pieces.
Port Forwarding — Ultra (₹799/month, 150 ports, unlimited bandwidth)
Our largest tier. If you're running enough services that counting ports stopped being useful, this is the one — and unlimited bandwidth removes the one variable the other tiers still cap.
Dedicated IP – Full Forwarding (₹499/month)
Different shape entirely: instead of specific ports, you get an entire public IPv4 address, routed to your server completely — every port, every protocol. No per-port configuration, ever. Choose this over even the Ultra port-forwarding tier if you don't want to manage a ports list at all, need protocols beyond TCP/UDP (ICMP, for instance), or want the closest thing to actually owning a public IP on hardware that doesn't have one.
The simple version
Start with Starter or Standard if you're not sure — upgrading later doesn't require reconnecting or losing your setup, it's just a plan change. Only jump straight to Dedicated IP if "everything, no port list" is specifically what you need.
