Our Refund and Trial Policy, Explained in Plain English

No legal jargon -- just a clear explanation of how refunds, trials, and cancellations actually work when you order from RepublicNodes.

Our Refund and Trial Policy, Explained in Plain English

Hosting refund policies are usually buried in a wall of legal text. Here's the short, honest version of how it actually works at RepublicNodes.

Why We Publish This at All

If a host's refund policy takes a lawyer to understand, that's usually by design. Ours is written to actually be read โ€” and we'd rather you know the real terms before you order than discover a surprise after.

The Practical Version

  • We publish the exact, current terms on our refund policy page โ€” that page is the source of truth, not this post
  • If something we provision is genuinely broken on our end (wrong specs, failed setup, our infrastructure fault), we fix it or make it right โ€” that's not a "policy," that's just how we operate
  • Add-ons, usage-based charges, and anything already consumed (bandwidth used, time active) are handled fairly, not punitively

What We'd Rather You Do Before Asking for a Refund

Open a support ticket first. Most issues that look like "this doesn't work" are a five-minute configuration fix โ€” wrong template selected, DNS not propagated yet, a firewall rule blocking a port โ€” and we'd genuinely rather solve the real problem than process a refund for something fixable.

Credits as an Alternative

If you're not sure you want a full refund but also don't want to keep the current plan, ask about converting the remaining balance to account credit instead โ€” it's often the faster, friendlier middle ground, and credit never expires unused in a drawer the way a half-remembered refund request does.

Read the full current terms on our refund policy page, or open a support ticket if anything about your order isn't working as expected.
