A Look Inside Our Infrastructure: Proxmox, Pterodactyl, and Why It Matters to You
What actually runs under the hood at RepublicNodes -- and why knowing the real technology stack behind your server should matter to you as a customer.
A Look Inside Our Infrastructure
Most hosting marketing pages talk about "enterprise-grade infrastructure" without ever saying what that actually means. Here's what it means at RepublicNodes, plainly.
VPS and Dedicated Resources: Proxmox
Our VPS plans run on Proxmox VE, a mature, open, KVM-based virtualization platform. That choice matters to you because:
- Each VPS gets genuinely isolated CPU, RAM, and disk โ not a container sharing a kernel with noisy neighbors
- Full virtualization means you can run essentially any OS or workload a real VM supports
- We can live-migrate, snapshot, and manage capacity at the node level, which is how we keep plans available instead of overselling a single box into the ground
Game Servers and Bots: Pterodactyl
Game server, Discord bot, Telegram bot, and WhatsApp bot hosting all run through Pterodactyl, the same panel software trusted by thousands of hosts worldwide โ but self-managed on our own nodes, not a reseller layer on top of someone else's panel.
That gives you:
- A real file manager, live console, and scheduled backups out of the box
- One-click eggs for the game or bot runtime you need, instead of manual setup
- Resource limits that are enforced and visible, not vague
Why We Tell You This at All
Most hosts don't publish their actual stack because it invites comparison. We publish ours because a host that's confident in its infrastructure should be able to name it. If you ever want to verify a claim we make about performance or isolation, you now know exactly what to go research.
