Minecraft vs Rust Website Templates: Which One Fits Your Server?
A side-by-side look at our Website Builder templates to help you pick the right one — even if you run a different game.
Minecraft vs Rust Website Templates: Which One Fits Your Server?
Website Builder ships with three templates. Here's how they actually differ, and how to choose even if you're not running Minecraft or Rust specifically.
The Default template
A clean, general-purpose layout with no game-specific styling — the safest choice for any game we don't have a dedicated template for yet, or if you just want something neutral and professional.
The Minecraft template
Pixel-styled type and a grass/dirt themed strip set the tone immediately as a Minecraft community site. If your server's identity leans into the blocky, nostalgic Minecraft aesthetic, this template reinforces it the moment someone lands on the page.
The Rust template
An industrial dark theme with hazard-stripe accents — built to match Rust's harsh, survival aesthetic rather than feeling like a generic hosting template with Rust's name slapped on it.
Running a different game?
Pick based on tone, not game title. A survival/building community (ARK-style, ValHeim-style) often fits the Rust template's industrial feel; a cozy or whimsical community fits the Minecraft template's playful look; anything else usually works fine with Default plus your own accent color and logo.
You can always switch later
Changing template and color rebuilds your site from your current saved details — see Choosing a website template and accent color for exactly what that does and doesn't preserve.
