From Minecraft to Trading Bots: How Our Hosting Lineup Grew
The story of how RepublicNodes expanded from game server hosting into Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp bot hosting -- including dedicated trading-bot tiers.
From Minecraft to Trading Bots: How Our Lineup Grew
RepublicNodes started with game server and VPS hosting. The rest of the catalog exists because customers kept asking for the next thing.
Game Servers First
Minecraft, Rust, PalWorld, and Source Engine hosting were the foundation โ because that's what we understood best from running our own communities before RepublicNodes existed.
Then: Bots, Because You Asked
Once game server customers started running Discord bots alongside their servers โ moderation bots, stat-tracking bots, economy bots โ the request to "just host the bot here too" came up constantly. That became dedicated Discord bot hosting, followed by Telegram bot hosting and WhatsApp bot hosting once the same pattern showed up on those platforms.
Then: Trading-Specific Tiers
Bot hosting customers running trading or signal bots had genuinely different needs than a moderation bot: near-zero tolerance for restart delay, higher sustained CPU use, and uptime that matters in a very literal financial sense. Rather than force everyone into one generic bot tier, we added dedicated trader-focused plans on top of the standard lineup for exactly that use case.
Then: Websites, Then a Directory
Game server owners wanted a simple website to point their community to โ so we built a website builder that auto-generates one from your actual server details, with real editable code underneath instead of a locked template. And because "where do I find new players" kept coming up separately, we built a free server listing directory too.
The Pattern
Nothing in our catalog shipped because a competitor had it first โ each category exists because real customers asked for it, used it, and kept using it. See the full current lineup.
